Introduction to Photography is a beginner-friendly course designed to help students build a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of photography. Whether you’re using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, this class will teach you how to move beyond automatic mode and take intentional, compelling images. Students will learn core concepts such as exposure (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), composition, lighting, and basic editing workflows. Through hands-on exercises, photo assignments, and group critiques, you’ll develop your visual eye while gaining confidence with your camera.
